Emma Thompson revealed the necklace scene from the 2003 romantic comedy “Love Actually” was inspired by her first husband Kenneth Branagh’s alleged affair with Helena Bonham Carter. The Academy Award-winning actress told the audience at a London #MeToo movement fundraiser Tuesday night that she used her actual heartbreak from her first marriage for the scene, the Evening Standard reported. The scene revolved around Thompson's character Karen realizing her husband Harry, portrayed by Alan Rickman, may be cheating on her. Karen finds a necklace in her husband’s coat pocket, which she assumed was a Christmas gift for her, but was surprised when she instead received a Joni Mitchell CD. After her realization that the necklace was for another woman, Karen retreats to her  bedroom to listen to the album and cry. The Kevin Spacey Foundation U.K. has decided to shut down because of the multiple allegations of sexual harassment against the Academy Award winning actor. The foundation said on its website Tuesday that its trustees have concluded the work of the foundation "is no longer viable." The foundation helped identify young artists and provide them with training and resources as they developed careers. Spacey has strong connections to Britain, where he served as artistic director of the Old Vic theater for 11 years. The theater said in November that it had received 20 allegations of inappropriate behavior by Spacey. A joke made by Matt Lauer about sleeping with interns left a potential "Today" guest so uncomfortable, she declined to appear on the NBC morning show. Comedy writer Nell Scovell was asked to appear on the peacock network in 2009 after she penned a Vanity Fair article about female writers being treated unfairly on "The Late Show With David Letterman." Scovell writes in her new book that when she turned down the opportunity to be on "Today," Lauer called her personally to try to convince her to change her mind.According to an excerpt obtained by Vanity Fair, Scovell told Lauer she was hesitant to appear on TV because "people want to hear about interns in the bedroom, and I want to talk about gender in the writers' room." Demi Lovato brought survivors of the Parkland, Fla., school shooting onstage during her San Diego concert this week. Six students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, who survived the Feb. 14 attack that killed 17 people, shared the stage with Lovato on Monday night in the first concert of her Tell Me You Love Me World Tour, the New York Daily News reported. “I want to make sure their voices are being heard and we can provide them with the mental health and post trauma care they need,” Lovato said in statement. A hip-hop artist in upstate New York has made a YouTube music video titled “School Shooter” – and now police have charged him with making a terroristic threat. The suspect, identified as Randy Ross, 23, was arraigned Tuesday in Greece, a suburb of Rochester, and sent to the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 property bond, the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reported. The video was shot outside a high school in Greece and possibly two other local schools, Greece Police Sgt. Jared Rene told the newspaper. The lyrics include, "I lay em down like a school shooter," and "I'll show up at your lunch, here [expletive] eat this."
